Maritza Mejia is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and the owner of LI Beauty Bar Aesthetics. She is dedicated to helping her patients feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin, finding immense satisfaction in witnessing the positive impact that aesthetic nursing can have on self-esteem and overall quality of life.

Maritza earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating Cum Laude from Stony Brook University, and in 2023, she completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from USU. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, she has had the privilege of working in hospital settings, where she provided compassionate care to patients and their families. Her time in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) offered invaluable experience in critical care, deepening her dedication to improving the lives of others.

In addition to her clinical work, Maritza is passionate about teaching and mentoring. As a faculty member at Empire Medical Training, she enjoys helping aspiring aesthetic professionals gain the knowledge and confidence to succeed in the field. Empowering others to pursue their passions in aesthetics is one of her greatest joys.
